Station
1 – Built in 1974, located at 48 main street.
It is our first Fire Station, and currently houses engine 1746, tender
1748, and tender 1749. It is a Greer landmark. |

Station 2
- Built in 2000, located just outside the village on highway 373.
This is our main fire station. Administration and our Fire Chief's
offices are located here. Meetings and public voting are held
at this station. Station #2 houses engines 1740, 1747,
rescue 1741, tender 1750 and 1751, engine 1745 and support 1744.
Fire and EMS training are held here as well as other classes.
Our refill point is also located here, with over 16,000 gallons of
water that can fill a tender at 1000 gpm. Two snowmobiles are
located here to assist with search and rescue in the winter months.

Engine
1747
2005 E-one type 1 structure
engine, with one thousand gal. water tank and a 1250 gpm Hale pump.
This engine is our primary or initial attack engine for all structure
fires. Equipment consists of a deck gun, piercing nozzles,
ventilation fan, 2000 feet of hose and various hand tools. |

Type 6 Wildland engine.
It is used for suppression of Wildland fires within the Greer area. |

Tender
1750
3750 gallon tender.
It is used on initial response of large incidents to shuttle water.
It is also contracted to assist USFS on major incidents. |

Engine
1740
Command Truck. Has
initial attack capabilities with 150 gallon of water, extrication
equipment, and Advance Life Support (ALS) equipment for medical
and trauma emergencies.

Rescue
1741
Rescue/Medical Truck. It is utilized
by our Emergency Support (EMS) Crews. They respond to all
medical/trauma emergencies, and is equipped with Basic Life Support
(BLS) equipment. |

Support
1744
Support Truck. It
is used when we need additional equipment, manpower, supplies or
rehab. |

Tender

3750 gallon tender.
It is used on initial response for water source on all fire calls
and is equipped with two three thousand gallon foldatanks to draft
water from. |

2600 gallon tender.
It shuttles water to the incident where water is not readily available. |

Drafting tender, with
1200 gallon tender. Its main use is to stage at a water resource
point and draft water to refill our larger tenders that are shuttling
water to the incident. |

Greer area or on forest lands. This engine is equipped and
contracted to assist USFS on major incidents. |
